For the first time since I went back to work I actually had a Bank Holiday off to spend the day with Jack and Indiana! We wanted to do something as a family, making the most of our day together, so decided to try somewhere new! Godstone Farm is only about 30minutes from where we live and has loads to do for the whole family (they even had half term activities on too), so it seemed perfect.
We arrived bright and early and got our tickets really quickly. I thought the prices were really reasonable - £8 per adult and then £3 for a child aged between 1 and 2 (although the price for children does go up to £8 once they're over 2).
We had a lovely day and managed to see and explore everywhere apart from the soft play; it was really warm anyway so didn't think we needed to be inside! There were farm animals, animal handling, huge play areas with sandpits and even a tractor ride.
Indiana has a slight fear of chickens after one pecked her foot a few weeks ago at a garden centre haha, but she loved stroking the bunny! We saw newborn piglets and foals and even a pig race which was hilarious. As it was such nice weather we obviously took a picnic and enjoyed an ice cream treat too.
We'll definitely be going back this summer as I'm pretty sure we had just as much fun as Indiana did haha. Warning this is pretty picture heavy!
