I'm not sure if it's just my husband, but I find men are soo hard to buy for. I hate the idea of wasting money on something they won't appreciate, or won't even be used. When I was contacted by the lovely team at JORD Watches though, I just knew this would be the perfect gift.
"JORD is run by artists, designers, marketers, and minders. We spend our days creating, considering, arguing, and hopefully agreeing. Then we'll scrap it all for the joy of starting new. We have fun. This is our Journey."Stunningly unique, JORD watches are all different due to the types of woods used to create them. Jack chose the the natural zebrawood and dark sandalwood watch from the Dover series. Hand finished and pretreated with tung oils, the watch really is a thing of beauty. The dark colours and style really suit Jack, and go perfectly with his tattoos.
Each watch comes presented in a wooden box; complete with drawer which can be used to store extra links in case of sizing issues. This shouldn't be a problem though as each watch is made to fit - there is a handy measuring guide on their website, which you can print and use to help with this.
Jack was definitely impressed with his watch, and has nothing but positive words to say about it! He loves the design and was actually surprised by how light it felt on his wrist. Despite feeling light though it's definitely robust. You can tell it's made with love - from the crystal glass to the deployment buckle - it just shines high quality.
Overall we're both hugely impressed with the watch, and even Indiana loves pointing out all the parts! I have been eyeing up their women's range to see whether I can get a matching one.
If you like them as much as we do, then JORD have an exclusive giveaway to win a $75 e-gift code. Simply fill out this form, and let us know what watch is your favourite. And even if you aren't the lucky winner, all entrants will automatically receive a $20 e-gift code!
The contest runs until the 4th December at 11:59pm. Both the $75 and the $20 codes will expire on the 28th February 2017.
Disclosure - I was gifted this Wooden Wristwatch for the purpose of this review.
