Living Arrows // 10/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Kahlil Gibran

Every week I'll be sharing a capture of my littles - either individually or together. To capture how they grow and change week by week.

Looking through my photo roll this week I was shocked to find I took hardly any pictures. There were at least three days I didn't even take one! Now this probably seems normal to most people, but it's definitely not for me, and I'm sure all you bloggers will understand.

I did manage to capture some snaps on World Book Day though. It was Indie's first year joining in and she was so excited I honestly thought she might burst! I didn't bother making anything, but she was happy enough to be Tinkerbell - so happy apparently that the costume didn't come off until she was forced into her pjs that evening.

Parker didn't dress up this year - mostly because he hasn't got any costumes, so if have any recommendations of good ones for toddlers do let me know. He didn't miss out of the photos though. The second the camera was in my hand, he ran over to our photo spot shouting 'cheeeeese' with a huge grin on his face. He seriously loves the camera!

  1. I was the same last week for some reason. I didn't take many photos. The camera wasn't ready but I caught them at the weekend.

  5. These are really sweet photos. I sometimes have weeks where I don't take many pics, but joining in with Living Arrows makes me get at least a few even if we don't go anywhere! Toddler costumes are quite tricky aren't they? We find they tend to start too big :(

  6. What a lovely Tinkerbell! You do get some weekend now and then where you don't use your camera that often, sometimes I do worry that I end up taking the same pictures over and over again. I struggled with costumes for Riley before he turned 3, its like shops don't think toddler boys dress up! You are always better off looking online, we got a cute Sully from Monsters Inc and Jake and the never land pirates costume, he loved both!x #LivingArrows

  8. They look so cute - and she was made to be Tinkerbell! Troy often dresses up in Athena's princess dresses and he loved being Tink for a while but he now has his own costumes - doctor, police, pirate and he will soon have an astronaut! x

  9. Ah, she's a gorgeous tinkerbell! I wish Max liked dressing up but so far the only thing he'll wear is a hi-vis vest (which to be fair is an improvement on refusing to wear anything at all!) #livingarrows

  10. I think Tinkerbell is a fab idea! She definitely diubds like she embraced it and it's a lovely picture. Monkey has only really just getting into dressing up now, I'm not sure if that's because of all the dress up babygrows I use to buy him! Mothercare are good for those sorts of onesies? Maybe a Dino? #CountryKids xx
