Movie Nights, Chocolate Eggs & Bluebells | #LittleLoves

Friday, 5 May 2017

It's Friday, which means it's time to roundup my week for my #littleloves post. This week we waved goodbye to April and welcomed May - something I still can't get my head around.. where is the year going?! It's also been a miserable week weather-wise; come back sun, we miss you!

Read

I love the end of the month, as it means everyone starts sharing their Me and Mine portraits and blog posts. It's such a great way to see how everyone else's months have been, and the photos are always so gorgeous! You can read ours here.

Watched

Jack and I try to have a movie and treats night at least once a week (the treats usually more often though.. oops!). This week we watched Now You See Me 2, which we both really enjoyed. I heard a lot of people were disappointed with it, but I thought it was just as good as the first.

Heard

Parker's speech is really blossoming at the moment, and I absolutely love listening to him babbling away. My absolute favourite thing he says at the moment though has to be 'love you mummy' - aren't those words simply the best?

Made

Last week I mentioned we were going to make some chocolate eggs, so I know this is slightly cheating. But I usually write my posts up on a Thursday evening.. so I think I can get away with it.

The littles absolutely loved decorating their eggs, especially Indie who enjoyed picking the colours for hers. The task set by WaterWipes was to #getmessy and I definitely think we managed it. So much so they ended up in the bath at 4pm.

Wore

We've been wrapped up in rain coats and blankets all week, as it's absolutely freezing! It got so cold earlier in the week I even put the heating back on. I've seen so many pictures on instagram of glorious sunshine in other areas though, which is sooo unfair!

And Lastly...

We joined in the hype and on Saturday we went on the hunt for bluebells! It was a lovely walk (I am so proud of how well the littles did, we walked over 1.5 miles!), and we found exactly what we were looking for. I'm saving the shots of both of them in the bluebells for my Siblings Project post later in the month, but here's a few from our walk.

Have a lovely week :)

  6. How cute is Parker to say that. Enjoy! We used to have a regular film night before we had our second child. I hope we make time for it again soon.
