As a Mother's Day treat Indiana and I had a little mummy daughter date. We visited a local craft workshop and had a lovely morning painting and decorating. I loved watching her little face, so full of concentration. She knew exactly what she wanted to do, and was so confident in asking for the colours and choosing what she wanted to paint.
It's definitely made me more determined to do this more often. She's growing up so fast now, and I don't want to miss a second!
How lovely! B and I don't get much time together at the moment and I'm missing her lots, so you've inspired me to leave the boys at home and take her out!

ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet, I would love to do this with my eldest as something just the two of us as well
ReplyDeleteAh she looks like she really enjoyed that and the concentration on her face is brilliant. #MyWildOnes
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing to do for Mother's Day. I don't really get to spend any time with Toby on his own these days but I should definitely make an effort to do it more often. We go to our local ceramic cafe quite often but usually only for coffee and soft play - maybe we should actually go and paint something next time! #mywildones
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that looks like so much fun! How cute that you got some mummy and daughter time, something I'm really looking forward to in the future!xx #MyWildOnes
