My Wild Ones #12 | Scooting Around

Indiana's favourite outdoor toy at nursery is the scooters. Every time we go to my sister's house she wants to use her cousins too. We wanted to wait until her birthday to get her her own one, however we just couldn't wait - especially as her birthday isn't until November, and it probably wouldn't get used then if we left it haha!

We still plan on getting her one for her birthday, but got her one from a second hand toy store for now. It's nothing special and it's a bit rusty, but for £5 it's made Indiana VERY happy! Of course we had to test it out right away, so we took it to Knole Park for a quick little spin.

She was a bit unsure and wobbly to begin with, but it didn't take her long to get the hang of it. Soon she was scooting away, and with a little speed behind her too! She was even being brave and scooting up and down a ramp (with assistance from us of course as she's definitely not got 100% balance quite yet haha).

Looking at these pictures I just can't believe how grown up she looks. Just a few months ago she was in the pushchair not wanting to really walk, and now she's scooting along side me. I bet by her birthday she'll be scooting off into the distance!

Lovely photos. My daughter has also picked up the scooting bug from her cousins. I'll have to keep an eye out at the next car boot!

Aww she has got the hang of it really quickly, and can't beat a five pound second-hand scooter, if it works it works!
She will definitely be riding off into the sunset soon. Knole park is lovely, great to see the deer

She does look grown up on her scooter, but still very little too! I've wondered about whether to get Toby one soon - I just don't know how much use he'll get out of it or if it will end up like the trike which is mostly just gathering dust in the garage! #MyWildOnes
