“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Kahlil Gibran
Every week I'll be sharing a capture of my littles - either individually or together. To capture how they grow and change week by week.
Did you have snow again this week? After moaning over on Instagram that all I wanted was a bit of sun, the snow decided to show up instead! Indiana couldn't be more excited though. I was woken up by gleeful squeals on Saturday morning, and we had regular updates throughout the day about the snow.
It didn't settle, and there wasn't a huge amount, but it was enough to please this crazy three year old!
Although Parker is a bit of a handful at the moment (and that's putting it lightly..), I had so many lovely days with him last week. I had to pop to town one day and I was honestly dreading it. But my little bean surprised me.
He was as good as gold. And *shock horror* he actually napped... I couldn't believe it! Refreshed from his little snooze, we took a detour home through the park. We spotted ducks, ran up the hills and waved as the trains went by. I cannot wait for the warmer months to have trips like this more often.
I love a day like that where you're expecting it to be a struggle (to put it mildly!) and it turns out to be just lovely! We had a similar one this week - really quiet, just playing inside in the morning and then a wander into town for some chores, but it was lovely just to spend time together. #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteSo lucky to get snow! We facetimed my parents and got shown all the snow and Lily got very jealous, until we got an icing sugar style dust :) xx
ReplyDeleteWe had snow, but it didn't settle at all much to the girls disappointment. I am ready for summer now though x #LivingArrows
ReplyDeleteWe barely had enough to settle here either, such a shame xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos lovely - we didn't have any snow here at all - the kids were gutted xx
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any snow - but then it's really rare for it to snow where we are even if there's snow everywhere else! Indie looks like she's loving it though - I love her big furry hood. And Parker is so cute - I know I've said it before but he seems so much older than Gabe somehow even though it's only a few weeks. I'm glad you've had some fun times with him this week. #LivingArrows
