Miserable Weather, Swimming Lessons & Twinning | #LittleLoves

What a miserable week it's been! I don't think I remember the last time I saw sun, or actually I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at all in a day.

The weather has kind of reflected how our week's been though. A bit shitty. We had such a lovely weekend, but then Parker got ill again and this happened. But it's Friday now so I'm not going to dwell on it any longer! Plus I get to remember all of the good with this week's little loves...

I loved reading everyone's Me and Mine posts this week. It's such a lovely way to capture those family photos, and everyone's photos were SO gorgeous.

I also read a rather exciting email this week... we're off to Bluestone again! We visited almost two years ago with a teeny Indie and a Parker bump. So I cannot wait to go back with both of this year, especially with them being older now.

With just Parker at home most days now, I'm getting back into watching more of my TV. I'm currently binge watching Sex and the City for the millionth time, which I'm really enjoying. I'm still 100% team Charlotte. What about you?

We met up with the lovely Harriet and her family on Sunday, for an explore of Scotney Castle (post will be up on that next week). Indie and her daughter Bella are only a few weeks apart in age, and since meeting last year have formed such a lovely little friendship.

It's so funny listening to them having their own little conversations. Their giggles are absolutely infectious too!

The lovely team over at Puddle Ducks made special exceptions to their no filming policy this week, so I could capture some clips of P in the water. He's had four lessons now and each week he's loving it more!

Before we became parents, we always said we wouldn't be 'those' parents who do matchy matchy outfits. Like most things you say before they actually arrive though, we haven't stuck to it at alllll. It's usually unintentional. But I think Jack definitely did this on purpose...

And Lastly...

We were sent some yummy products from the guys at JellySqueeze this week. The handy lunchbox approved jellies have definitely been a hit. The resealable lid kept Parker amused for aaaaages too - bonus win!

Have a lovely week :)

  1. YAY for Bluestone, we have been twice and you will love it all over again. I always said no to matchy matchy too but hell, if you can't twin with your kids when can you?! x

  2. Ah, I bet you're excited to head back to Bluestone later on this year, now the kids are bigger and can have a real explore.

Jack and Parker twinning - too cute!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

  3. Lucky you heading back to Bluestone, it looks lovely there! I've always wanted to visit Scotney Castle, it looks gorgeous there and despite living in Kent for most of my life I never got around to it. It's on the list of the many to visit when we're staying with my mum in the summer. Hope you have a good weekend x

  4. Lucky you going back to Bluestone - we'd love to go but they don't offer school holiday times as part of their blogger programme. I really need to sort out a National Trust membership. Love the matching outfits! Enjoy your weekend xx
