“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Kahlil Gibran
Every week I'll be sharing a capture of my littles - either individually or together. To capture how they grow and change week by week.
I wanted to capture Mother's Day for this week's Living Arrows, but my two just weren't playing ball! I tried snacks, bribery, even pulling silly faces.. but they were adamant they didn't want a nice picture with mummy (anyone else experience this?).
We did get a couple of lovely ones - well apart from mr grumpy gills Parker! - before we went out for lunch. It's crazy to think this was my fourth Mother's Day as a mummy myself.
The less posed shots are the best! Hope you had a lovely mother's day x
ReplyDeleteWe tried for some family shots together yesterday too - apparently even with one child it's too much to ask to have everyone looking at the camera and the photo totally in focus too! Yours are still lovely though, hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteAww time flies Emily! They are both growing up rapidly!
ReplyDeleteI tried to get Rob to get some photos of me and the kids yesterday as I'm normally behind the camera. How do you take your Me and Mine family pics?
Soph x
I didn't get any photos of me and Blake on mother's day he is such a whirl wind atm and won't sit still #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteLovely pics. My Monkey can really live up to her nickname when trying to get photos. The best ones are always the ones she doesn't know I'm taking #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteAh it's lovely. My girls have to be in the mood for a photo with mummy! x
ReplyDeleteLol, Parker's face. I struggle to get N to have set photos now. Unless I get the tripod out/the remote, then he gets more excited. #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteI am usually the one to take the shots and as such I never got one of me and them at all on mothers day which is awful really. These are sweet and real life for sure x
ReplyDeleteOh bless Parker's little grumpy face! These photos just sum up motherhood! x
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely photos - even if they were a bit tricky to get! I hope you had a lovely mother's day.
