Half Term, Siblings & Big Weekend | #LittleLoves

I hope everyone is having a wonderful half term? I am so thrilled that this week has been such a good one, (well apart from the one morning where everything seemed to go wrong). I'm usually tearing my hair out at the end of the week, but I think the Bank Holiday has definitely helped, and so has the sun. I think I'm going to be extra gutted when Indie is back at preschool next week.

I'm hoping I get the chance to finish The Unmumsy Mum diary at some point this weekend. I hate how I'm so out of touch with reading recently, I miss a good book!

It's been so lovely to watch Indie and Parker this week. He really is her little shadow - whatever she does he has to do too, whether he can actually do it or not! I love going out of the room and watching them secretly sometimes. Of course they do bicker (a lot) but they have such a special little bond.

How good was Radio 1s Big Weekend this year? There were so many people I would have loved to have seen (who knew Sean Paul had sooo many tunes?) Little Mix were just as good as ever, although I'm not quite sure what their outfits were all about.

The most of the sunny weather? Awful connection I know, but it's the best I could do. We've spent really every day outside in the garden, splashing in the paddling pool and eating ice lollies. I'm going to be gutted when the sun goes away for good!

I'm loving this shirt I bought from New Look a few weeks ago. It's cotton so lovely and cool in the hot weather, but still keeps me covered up (I just have to look at the sun and I burn). It's super floaty too so it means I can get away with eating all the ice creams too.. win win!

And Lastly...

We've booked to head back to Little Street Maidstone tomorrow as a surprise for the littles. We had so much fun when we first visited, so I'm excited to take Jack along to play. Taking Jack also means I can sit with a hot drink and watch from the sidelines too. Yay!

Have a lovely week :)

  1. Aww I bet it's so cute watching their relationship grow as they get older :)

  2. Oh I love seeing siblings together. It's such a lovely bond to have and grow up with someone for life as a friend and a family member. I am super close to my own siblings and love reading about your little ones so cute. They sound like two peas in a pod. Have a fab weekend ahead. #littleloves

  3. I know what you mean about siblings! It's a bond that's so fun to sit back and observe. Your little ones are so adorable! That's a beautiful top. Have a wonderful weekend. #littleloves

  4. Your little ones are so cute together. My 5 year old follows my 15 year old around like a puppy - much to her disgust, he absolutely adores her. That place in Maidstone sounds brilliant, I remember you posting about it before. I'll have to take my little nephew and my 5 year old when we're down that way. Have fun! x

  5. What a lovely week. The little ones sounds like they have such a special bond. I love your top, I always go for floaty blouses. I hate wearing tight tops in summer. I really want to read the Unmumsy Mum! So many people have said that its good. I'm going to swing over to Amazon now before I forget! :D #littleloves xx

  6. What a lovely week! Watching your kids play together is so lovely isn't it? I've been amazed how well my two have been getting on over half term, it's made my heart happy for sure. xx
