“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Kahlil Gibran
Every week I'll be sharing a capture of my littles - either individually or together. To capture how they grow and change week by week.
We spent a wonderful 5 days at the fab Bluestone Wales resort last week, so of course this week's Living Arrows photos had to be from our trip! We managed to fit in so much, and yet I still feel as if we missed out on so many activities. One I made sure we got around to this year though, was roasting marshmallows over the fire at Camp Smokey.
Indie and Parker were a little unsure at first - but I suppose I would be too if I was suddenly given access to lots of yummy treats, and told to have fun! By the time we got to the last few marshmallows they were really into it though. And although they couldn't quite reach the fire, they gave it a pretty good go. Check out those concentration faces!
Yum roasting marshmallows on the camp fire are a must. The children look like they have having a great time.
ReplyDeleteAh lovely photos. Camp smoky is perfect for kids and you can't beat toasting marshmallows x
ReplyDeleteThey look so at home there. And I hope you had a wonderful break - Bluestone is so lovely x
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've made some lovely memories. The last time we had marshmallows my eldest shoved it in my mouth! #LivingArrows
ReplyDeleteAww, we loved Bluestone too - although we didn't get chance to toast marshmallows!
