Christmas Gifts For New or Expectant Mums | Christmas 2017

I don't know whether it's because bump is due so soon after, or because the littles are that little bit older now, but I am sooooo excited for Christmas this year. This is my second year I've pregnant over  the Christmas period - although there are so many more lovely gift ideas now.

I therefore thought it was only fitting, to create a Christmas Gift Guide for my fellow expectant mamas, and also those who are enjoying those lovely newborn squishes already. Hopefully it will give family and friends some ideas of what to buy mum!

Pregnancy or Baby Milestone Cards

The moment I found out we were expecting I order myself some milestone cards. They're a lovely way to document your pregnancy as bump grows - and they save you from forgetting how far along you are when you look back in years to come! I picked up this gorgeous set from an Instagram store, and I already cannot wait to buy the baby milestone version.

Seedlip Alcohol Free Gin*

I'm not a big alcohol drinker myself, but there's something about the festive season that makes even myself want a little something. This Alcohol Free Gin from Seedlip is the World's first non-alcohol spirit. Add the fact that it's sugar and sweetener free, has zero calories and comes in two different 'flavours' (Garden or Spice).. what's not to like? Definitely one to add to a pregnant gin lovers Christmas list!

Apples and Pips Gift Hamper

There are some lovely gift ideas for new or expectant mamas out there - both practical and pampering! These gift hampers from Apples and Pips can be purchased for either a mum to be or for mum and baby, and contain some gorgeous gift ideas including This Mama Does parenting milestone cards, chocolates and a gift voucher to spend on the website itself.

A Carriwell Nursing Bra*

If you are hoping to breastfeed, or have already started your journey, you'll know how important a good nursing bra is. You need comfort, practically and support! These bras are usually on the pricier side, so why not pop one of your Christmas list? The Seamless GelWire Nursing Bra from Carriwell offers the ultimate maternity & nursing bra combination - practically and extremely comfortable. Plus the GelWire is the only "underwire" bra recommended by lactation consultants!

'Waddling and Wonderful' Pregnancy Tote Bag*

Since the 5p bag tax was brought it, I never leave the house without a reusable bag. This fab pregnancy related tote from Cley Baby is a fun and quirky design for those mums to be. Available in a range of colours and designed "especially for pregnant princesses who are proud of their pregnancy waddle and need a place to store their things", this would make a lovely stocking filler or extra Christmas Gift.

Flower Delivery Service

Who doesn't love flowers? This kind of gift would be perfect for either a mum to be or a brand new mama, especially as it arrives straight to their door! Companies such as Bloom & Wild offer gift subscriptions where you can send flowers weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and for as long as you desire.

Cuddledry Products*

A gift to make a new mum's life that little bit easier would be a fantastic choice for Christmas, (I know that's all I want this year!). Cuddledry offer some beautiful bath time products, that are not only practical but lovingly designed too. Their Bathtime Bundle includes their award winning Handsfree Baby Towel, a Cuddlemit and a super cute Cuddleduck too! There's also a newborn gift set which comes in a beautiful presentation box as well.

Lamb & Bear Products*

We are huge fans of Lamb & Bear and the wonderful work that owner and designer Alex does. This year she expanded her legging collection to include lots more products, including some beautiful items that would be perfect for us mamas! The baby gift set in the lovely new Lamb & Bear print includes the 100% cotton swaddle blanket, the 100% cotton zippy sleepsuit and the 100% cotton baby headband. Why not include an adult headband for mama too - because twinning is winning right?

I know I would loveee to receive any of these gifts, so I hope this has given you a little bit of inspiration this festive season!

Products marked with a * have been provided for this post. However all opinions are honest and my own.
