Towards the end of the month we of course celebrated Indiana's 6th birthday. After a hectic class party last year, we tried to keep it a bit more low-key this year. Luckily her birthday coincided with the release of Frozen 2, so I took her and a few friends to the cinema to see the film, and then out for lunch and of course birthday cake. It was so lovely to get a little insight into her school friendships, and my goodness what a movie too. On her actual birthday Indie was at school, but we did have a lovely morning with cake for breakfast and presents, and then dinner out at Pizza Express. I honestly cannot believe she's now 6 - especially as it means that this little blog of mine is almost 6 too!
We ended the month preparing for the festivities ahead, visiting the Bedgebury Christmas Light Trail for their opening night. Despite visiting last year it did not disappoint! It really is such a magical and lovely evening out, with so much to see and experience along the route. And although we were gifted our tickets, I wouldn't hesitate to book them ourselves next year. It's the perfect way to start Christmas!
I am so excited for the next few weeks ahead, although I'm finding it hard to believe we're into the final chapter of 2019 already. Didn't it just begin?
