Me and Mine Project | November 2019

November already seems like a distant memory now that we're fully into the swing of Christmas. But looking back we had a lovely, and actually relatively relaxed, month for the most part. We celebrated Bonfire Night with sparklers in the garden, and a lovely fireworks display (although it did pour with rain the whole of the display). The sun (mostly) shone for the rest of the month and we managed to get out and enjoy plenty of Autumnal walks too. Sunny but slightly chilly days where you can wrap up warm and snug are some of my favourite thing about November for sure!

Towards the end of the month we of course celebrated Indiana's 6th birthday. After a hectic class party last year, we tried to keep it a bit more low-key this year. Luckily her birthday coincided with the release of Frozen 2, so I took her and a few friends to the cinema to see the film, and then out for lunch and of course birthday cake. It was so lovely to get a little insight into her school friendships, and my goodness what a movie too. On her actual birthday Indie was at school, but we did have a lovely morning with cake for breakfast and presents, and then dinner out at Pizza Express. I honestly cannot believe she's now 6 - especially as it means that this little blog of mine is almost 6 too!

We ended the month preparing for the festivities ahead, visiting the Bedgebury Christmas Light Trail for their opening night. Despite visiting last year it did not disappoint! It really is such a magical and lovely evening out, with so much to see and experience along the route. And although we were gifted our tickets, I wouldn't hesitate to book them ourselves next year. It's the perfect way to start Christmas!

I am so excited for the next few weeks ahead, although I'm finding it hard to believe we're into the final chapter of 2019 already. Didn't it just begin?
