Our Summer Holiday Bucket List 2022

2.8.22

A lot of things may have changed for our family over the last few months, but if anything, that's made me want to make this summer as special as possible for my three. Of course I had to create a summer holidays bucket list for 2022 to go alongside this! I've created a summer holidays bucket list the last few years (2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 can be found here), as I think they're a great way of not only documenting what fun plans we have for the summer, but also making sure we do something a bit different and new as well.

As always, I've made sure to only really add things that we've already got planned, or simple things that won't be too difficult to achieve. Just because you've made a list, it doesn't mean it needs to be full of fancy and expensive things - at the end of the day just getting outdoors is good enough! Do let me know if you're going to create your own summer holidays bucket list this year. I'm always on the hunt for more ideas for years (and other school holidays!) to come.

What plans do you have for this summer?

Summer Holidays Bucket List 2021

31.7.21

With most restrictions eased, and lots of exciting plans for the 6 week summer holidays already, of course I had to create a summer holidays bucket list for 2021! We've created a summer holidays bucket list the last few years (2018, 2019 and 2020 can be found here), as I think they're a great way of not only documenting what fun plans we have for the summer, but also making sure we do something a bit different and new as well.

As always I try and make sure most of the ideas on the list are linked to plans we already have. We're already have a holiday booked for example, and we'll be making use of our Merlin Annual Passes for sure too. And if the idea of spending lots of money and making lots of fancy plans puts you off creating a summer holiday bucket list.. don't let it! As you can see from this year's list below, a lot of our plans don't cost anything at all.

Summer Holidays Bucket List 2020

23.7.20

Although the summer holidays are going to be a little different this year due to Covid-19, I still want to make sure they are as fun and memorable for the littles as possible - although I fear this year won't be one we forget in a hurry anyway! We've created a summer holidays bucket list the last few years (2018 and 2019 can be found here), so why should this year be any different?

Lockdown restrictions and social distancing measures may mean a few of our usual ideas and plans may have to change, but we are planning to give everything our best shot. Jack has luckily managed to get a few days off work over the summer, which of course makes days out and adventuring that little bit easier (and more fun as we can go further afield in the car). So without further ado, here's our summer holidays bucket list 2020...

I'm going to print out the above list so that littles can tick off each point once it's completed. As with previous years I've included lots of things I know we're already doing (but they don't yet), so hopefully we'll manage everything!

What are your summer holiday plans this year?

Our Summer Holiday Bucket List 2019

23.7.19

Today marks day one of the summer holidays 2019, so I thought it would be perfect timing to share this years summer holiday bucket list! I made a similar list last year, and I really think it gave us the push to do lots of exciting (but also lots of easy) activities over the 6 week holidays.

The littles loved ticking off each activity as we completed it too - so of course I wanted to make a list for this year. It's another exciting one for us, as it's Parker's last summer before he starts school in September. So let's hope we can make it one to remember!

What have you got on your list this year? I would love to add some more ideas to ours!

Summer 2018 Bucket List

27.7.18

We're already a week into the Summer Holidays, so I am a little late with this post. But I am so excited to share our Summer 2018 bucket list! This is our last summer before Indiana starts school in September, so we wanted to make sure it was a special one - full of fun activities and days out.

We all sat down together and suggested ideas, so that both the children, and Jack and I, can get as much enjoyment out of it as possible. So here is what we hope to enjoy this summer!

I created the list on Canva (they have lots of templates so it's really easy), and then I'm going to print it and stick it on the wall for the Littles to see. We've already ticked off 'have a movie day', so I wonder what we'll get up to next!

What would you add to our list?
